Fresh flowers ( Yana & Ibrahim )

Salam and hi to all viewers,
Hope everyone enjoy the 1 week break... ..Selamat Hari Raya to all muslim.
I feel bored today... last nite mengemas store brg2 bunga...letihhh rasanyer...so today need to take a break, look thru rhe pic from previous work, even there's a few more from 2007 , not edited and published. ermmmm...time is running very2 fast . Need to push a bit harder ..  .
This year compared to other previous years, banyak terima tempahan bunga pahar...alhamdulillah.. rezeki baby. Organza n songket esp. have to create more design... make it variety. Tgh mencuba bunga orkid...harap2 nyer menjadik....this design esp for one of my close friend. Kalau tak cantik kita try tulip plak...
So what we gonna have for today's entry... ermmm...hantaran fresh flowers ? or organza ? or both. I guess I can share both collection. The fresh flowers collection belongs to Yana & Ibrahim. And the organza was for my frenz's sister ..Anem. So, jOm cuci mata....

Thn nie ada gak buat preparation utk Hari Raya... simple2 jer...alhamdulillah, sempat gak buat biskut 2-3 jenis. Excited jugak nak beraya sebab anak yg eldest dah pandai enjoy the moment...so bila ummi nyer buat cookies....nanti ada jerlah komen2 dari si kecik ... hehehe... dia lah yg paling excited nak pasang pelita dan sibuk nak balik kampung. Thn nie kami sekeluarga beraya di Damansara jer....kepada yg beraya di KL..jemput lah sesapa yg sudi dtg beraya ke rumah my parents hari raya nanti yer...call/sms me for address... bleh prepare apa2 yg patut....selalunyer laksa kedah n ketupat pulut dgn rendang tu sure ada... . Jemput2 lah yer.
Sebagai pengganti diri.. saya ( Shajaratul Dur Ismail ) dan keluarga ingin mengucapkan Selamat menyambut Hari Lebaran..Selamat Hari raya Aidilfitri.. Salam Kemaafan dari kami sekeluarga dan kepada yang akan pulang ke kampung halaman.. safe journey ...

Fresh flowers - purple

Hantaran fresh flowers mmg skrg menjadi pilihan ... mostly tiap kali ada tempahan masa cuti sekolah thn nie , akak akan buat at least 1 set hantaran fresh flowers.
Apa yang menariknyer fresh flowers deco...ermmm.. i guess its because of its real beauty. Everybody luv something real, pure, innocent, charming, sweet in its on way... that is fresh flowers. Cuma fresh flowers nie dont last that long. Thats the disadvantage of it. And it makes it a bit challenging n hard to prepare. You have to do it to the very last minute... few hours before u present it. Contohnya... kalau majlis nikah pagi... mlm sebelum tu barulah siap deconya... kalau ptg/mlm majlisnyer... meaning pagi tu baru siap dulang2 hantaran tu. If you ok with it... then there shouldn't be a prob.
Byk jenis bunga kita boleh guna ...not just roses, cuma kalau bunga2 lain nie kena tgk musim /season . Takut tetiba jer bunga out of season.. tak dpt stok, frustrated plak client... Few times happened to me..so mmg dari awal2 kena explain the terms n condition..the risk n the possibility.Kalau roses, dont worry.... available thru out the year....
However akak ada try a few other type of flowers.. Akak update one bye one yer..this collection theme color purple.Ermmm rasnyer early this year akak buatkan hantaran nie. Nama bunga...ermmmm..........Lupaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa laaaa.. .hehehehe. Tapi akak letak ranting2 skit... to make it look different a bit...sebab the other side pun akak buatkan fresh flowers..rupanyer ? kena tunggu next entry yer....

I have an annoucement to make... I'm now 3 months pregnant and expected due in Feb 2009. For the past 3 months, kesihatan amatlah merosot... no energy at all..end up in bed whole day.. byk kerj tertangguh, email tak terblas, phone call tak terjawab. Maaf pd yg email2nyer tak terreply. Sorry yek...
At the moment.... event yg already conformed is until Dec 2008. So rasanyer tak dpt terima event lg untuk thn nie until March 2009. Untuk temphan bunga/hntaran/gift still open for orders...
Ermmm....rasanyerlama gak tak letak gambar hantaran...eermmm...kta tgk2 preview dulu yer...this time guna dulng oval shape....sesuai sgt untuk brg2 hantaran yg besar2.

Hi everyone....so this week I will write a bit about Bunga Pahar.
What is the different from the term bunga telur ? In my personal opinion ( based from experience talking to clients' family...) bunga pahar and bunga telur is not the same thing.Apakah bezanyer...rupa mungkin sama tapi fungsinyer berbeza
Namanya bunga pahar... jadi bunga pahar mesti ada paharnyer.....pahar adalah dulang yg boelh diletak brg diatas...sebagai hadiah. Selalunya org dulu2...akan bawa bunga pahar nie semasa dtg berarak ke rumah pasangan pengantin...selalunya bersama rombongan pengantin adalah sorang ditugaskan bawak pahar yg ada bunga pahar. sebagai hadiah dari keluarga pengantin... ok ke penerangan nie...hehehe...sorrylah kalau ayat akak nie cam pusing2 skit...
And also...bunga pahar jugak diletakkan di depan pelamin...org dulu2 mana ada tempat cucuk bunga telur nie...pakai daun pisang jer...ehh silap ! batang pisang ..so nak bagi cantik diorang letak le btg pisang tu atas pahar letak depan pelamin....so jadiklah bunga pahar... . Dari apa yg org tua2 citer kat akak... dari situlah dtgnyer term bunga pahar... bunga yg diletak atas pahar, dan di bagi kepada org2 yg merenjis pengantin nanti. Nowadays, kita masih ada letak bunga pahar di depan pelamin, cuma kadang2 tak letak lagi atas pahar mcm dulu2..sebab dah ada tempat cucuk bunga pahar yg cantik menggantikan batang2 pisang... . Still... we keep the term as before...the beautiful 'bunga pahar'
Bunga telur plak....bunga yg dihadiahkan kepada org ramai sebagai cenderahati...dan telur diberi sebagai mengambil berkat dan mendoakan semoga pasangan pengantin dimurahkan rezeki dn dikurniakan zuriat2 yg baik dan sempurna. aminnnnn...
zaman kita skrg kita masih kekalkan adat dgn pemberian bunga telur.. cuma ada yg prefer gantikan telur dgn brg2 yg lain...normally choc / gula2.. mungkin sebagai simbolik ' kemanisan alam rumah-tangga . Insyallah....
Jadi kadang2, some people still prefer telur sbg hadiah bunga telur ...coz the meaning behind it.......futher-more.. its affordable. ..cuma proses menyiapkan nye leceh skit...dulu2 semua buat gotong royong, mmg ramai yg sudi tolong ikatkan telur tu sehari sebelum majlis..zaman kita skrg, mmg susah skit. Sadly to say Amalan gotong royong dah kurang. I heard once ..dlm majlis persiapan, one the aunty said :
" si < .... > tak dtg pun yer tolong-tolong hari ni. Masa majlis anak dia dulu dok bising kata takder org datang tolong dia...tapi masa majlis org lain tak tahu pulak nak tunjuk muka.Pastu nak harap org nak dtg tolong dia masa majlis dia plak.Mana boleh macam tu.... ermmmmmmmm...."
Kesimpulannyer..marilah kita ramai2 tolong sedara mara kita atau kawan2 masa diorang perlukan bantuan siapkan majlis kenduri masing2..supaya nanti masa majlis kita ramai gak yg dtg tolong kita buat persiapan....bukannyer nak suruh berjaga mlm pun..tolong letak telur pun jadilah !!

Fondant Cake

Salam n good day to all...
Recently I came across one blog on wedding planning ( in US n UK ) . Best baca article2 tu...and thinking of doing the same also. Share with everyone my opinion on all the things related to wedding ...from the planning to the event itself...Insya Allah...
So.. today since ada gambar cake fondant yg nak di sharekan..... we talk about CAKE...
Wedding Cake...
Normally for a malay wedding, we normally have two cakes...one to be given as one of the hantaran during Nikah ( not necessarily ) and another one for Reception ( Cake cutting ceremony ).
Why Fondant ?
Fondant Cake is a hard icing cake and we like it because it looks the best.Fondant cake can also taste as nice as it looks or sometimes its only a plain butter cake inside.Up to you to decide..
Fruit cake or prune/walnut cake is better ..why ? reason being, it tasty..and fruit cake maintain the shape nicely....kalau guna cake yg tak ada bhn2 dlmnyer.. bila kita letak lapisan icing fondant yg quite heavy..nanti surface fondant tu tak smooth..berlopak2..hehehe..sebab cake dlmnyer too soft...( boleh makan tau fondant nie...rasa mcm chewing gum ..sticky dan manis giler..) still butter cake is good enough if you wish to minimz the cost...
talking about the cost...normally they are charging more than RM150 for each( standand 1-2kg ). Depends on the type of cake n also the flowers.Why so expensive ????bcoz....the ingrediant is expensive and its NOT EASY to do...i've tried once and I dont think I'm willing to do it again.hehehhe...lecehhhh dari buat bunga dip ok ! . So thats one good reason y it cost that much...because u need skills for it. A very good one ! .
If u need 3 tiers fondant cake ( real cake ) for reception, u might spent more than RM1K for that (also depends on the design n sizes ). U can opt for dummy cake....ermmmm....DUMMY CAKE ? how dummy is it...ermmmm...they replace the cake with polysterin..thats all. Still using fondant icing but that fondant you cannot eat laaaa....sebab dah keraaaassss dan dah lama. hehehehe.
For your information....most hotels only provide Dummy Fondant Cake in their wedding package. Some...ermmm..one or two hotels give 1 layer real cake..the rest dummy cake. Only 1 small portion is real cake , just enough for the couples to taste it during the cutting time ( acara suap menyuap .. )
They used the same cake in all wedding reception...kira mcm recycled gitu..only change the deco on top hehehe...but as far as I concerned. ALL dummy cakes look very2 nice in the PICTURE !!! . So dont worry if u are facing one soon.. more over its included in the package ..so its FOC. Even if its real cake....sometimes it is wasted after the event...by that time all guest too full already ....so i think dummy cake should be considered as a good option. Right ? But if u have the budget for a real cake...why not !
.If you surf on the net, western wedding normally used fondant cake with fresh flowers. Actually fresh flowers cost cheaper and much easier to do compare to the hard icing flower.Still it need to be done to the last minute , since its FRESH ! . This is hard icing flower..u can easily get this from the Bakery nowadays.
If its a small function with 100 - 400 guests, and its buffet....a nice 3 tiers wedding cake will give extra credit. You can share it with everyone...let the caterer know about this earlier...so they can help u to distribute the cake to your guest. I've done that once..people seems to appreciate that.

I'm sorry for not being here nearly 2 months...no news no updates n no pictures...but i'm still here.. doing the same thing still...bz with so many things...i've moved to a new place... our new home sweet home..and the streamyx still not connected after 1 month....so cant really shre many pics now...got to wait for a better connection... dial up nie slow amat....bleh tertido tunggu dia refresh. Tday mcm laju skit....so i think its long enough for everybody. Tq so much kepada semua yg email akak ....ada yg sms tanyer kabar , takut kak shaja give up....taklah ! now i already have my own showroom...cuma akak tak bukak all the time..with appmnts je dulu...coz tak amik pekerja lagi skrg. 1 step at a time...jemput2lah dtg ke showroom akak ye! ...kecik jertapi cukuplah untuk client nak tgk sample2 brg yg ada.

2007 event

Someone called me few weeks back :
She said :
" Kak...update la gambar skit...lama dah akak tak update gambar event ngan hantaran dlm fp...update ek ! "
ermmm... mmg lama gak tak update yek... kdang2 sebab tak sempat nak buat editing..kadang2 hantaran tak sempat nak snap picture...kadang2 mood pun takder nak edit n sharing. sorry lah sesgt...
takpe2.....hari ni , atas permintaan ...i would like to share with everyone pictures of last year event. However.. atas permintaan client..Cant put all...just the deco part ya...
It was during our 50th Merdeka Celebration...31.08.07.Akad nikah in Shah Alam n reception in Palace of the Golden Horses.. garden wedding ( alhamdulillah perfect wheather with beutiful stars up above ) ...took me a whole year of 2007 for this 2 events . Tq to all who help me in making this event the most memorable event of the year.

together to visit their old university professor.
Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in
work and life. Offering his guests coffee,the professor
went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of
coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic,
glass, crystal, some plain looking,some expensive,
some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

taken up,leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While
it is but normal for you to want only the best for

stress.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup,

Now if life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in
society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change.
Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to
enjoy the coffee in it."

Hi .....
pelamin nie shaja buat dgn kerjasama Zura n hubby .. she got the rangka pelamin.... dan minta akak letak kain n bunga.... akak suka sgt orkid....orkid putih..dgn ranting2 .....katanyer nak nampak klasik...taknak serabut2..so nilah hasilnyer.
